Simply stated, if each of G-d's creatures is supposed to receive what they require, why would G-d orchestrate things such that some receiving obscene excesses? Asking this question isn't merely academic. Nor is it merely a matter of philosophical pontification, exercise in theoretical theology. Perfecting our Bitachon will require a cogent explanation to why the wealth, gaining clarity, and choosing to do the right thing! This is precisely what Rabbeinu Bachaya now addresses.
